About Albert Park
The community of Albert Park was to originally be connected by a railway to Forest Lawn (rumors in 1912 were made that a streetcar was to be built). Development in Albert Park started in 1910 and grew quickly. It is surrounded by views of the mountains, downtown Calgary, the Bow River Valley, easy access to major roads and plenty of public/separate schools. The community centre features several programs and games (including darts and pool).
